Esperanto-espero sidis en la rando kaj plukis rubon de sian vestoj. Mizero estis skribita en sian vizagxo. Li rigardis al sian amikon, sercxanta por simpatio. “Kamarado,” diris Fortega-viro, kiel li donis brakumo al li, “Mi bedauxras pri la festo de Ana. Sxi ne devis demandi ke vi foriras.”
“Mi diris al sxi ke gxi estis akcidento,” plorsingultis Esperanto-espero al sian amiko. “Vere, cxu vi pensas ke sxi estigxis tro sentiva? Sxi havas 3 aliajn murojn!”
La alia heroo pensis momente kaj diris, “Ne, mi pensas ke sxi ne sxatis vin antaux tio okazis. Eble cxar sxi ne sxatis vian nomon?”
“Nu, eble vi estas gxusta. ‘Esperanto-espero‘ ne estas tre placxe memorebla.”
“Ah, Jes ja,” akordis lian amiko,”Superflua.”

I’m still a beginner, too. Maybe intermediate. Maybe that med-low setting on the stove, but for language.
Anyway, I liked the story. It seems there are a couple of places where the adjective and noun don’t agree. I recognize it because I have similar problems in my Esperanto.
Unless I’m misreading it (I’m a beginner, too), I think the word you want is ‘mantelo’ for cape. I think ‘kabo’ is land formation like Cape Cod.
I liked the story. Poor heroes with their odd names and knocking down walls and such. But I do like the name Forega-viro.

“Mantelo!” Oh…thanks for that! It didn’t even occur to me that there was more than one meaning for “cape.”
